This is part one of two parts of a tattoo that was requested by a client. This is the dancing skeletons part which a client wanted from a cartoon that he was familiar with. I like adding my own artistic enhancement to client sources so this was a fun challenge for me. What makes this a challenge is the detail in the skeletons and also capturing the movement of dancing. What helps the dancing movement is the contour of the area. So when I stenciled the drawing, I gave it just a slight movement so that it would not be too much when applied. The detail of the skeletons is hidden in simple line work that makes use of a little negative space. What do you all think? Let me know on Facebook, Google Plus, or Twitter.
